CASI 10 (Almost 10) was born from the many discussions, arguments, heart to heart and rag sessions that happen among friends. And there is a little bar on the Lower East Side of Manhattan that witnessed most of these! Many of us were immigrants with many years in the US and the only constant in all our stories is that we all came here in the first place for a different reason or motivation.  For some it was adventure, others rebellion, economic need, personal expression... you get the picture. So we grabbed a couple of cameras and we started capturing these different stories. We never intended those interviews to evolve in to a project of this level, but then, on our way, we discovered so many people getting emotionally attached to the idea and they are the ones that actually have made it happen.

CASI 10 is the result of the work of many and at the same time, it is the story of one, in this case the story of Pol.
