
Roberto Alcazar - Director
Roberto is the founder of EOintegration , a branded-content production company based in New York City. Roberto's started in advertising over 18 years ago, working in Spain, Latin America, and the U.S. for top advertising agencies such as FCB, Saatchi & Saatchi, Euro RSCG, and Grey Global's wing. Over this period of time, Roberto has gained considerable experience in directing advertising for a wide range of companies, such as Bank One, US Bank, DIAGEO, Panasonic, Kmart, Coors Brewing Co., General Motors (GMC), The Home Depot, General Mills, The Partnership for a Drug Free America, Budweiser and Bud Light among others.
Roberto's work has earned numerous awards including the Clio, Addy, New York Festival, Advertising Age Creative Award and Radio Mercury Award among others. He is also frequently invited and has served in the judge panels for many prestigious awards and festivals.
In 2007 Roberto produced and directed his first documentary, CASI 10, based on the life of a bartender from Barcelona living illegally in New York. Capturing the essence of the Latino immigration experience in the US, CASI 10 has been feature in more than 10 Film Festivals worldwide.
In 2009 Roberto completed production of his first feature film as Co-writer, Producer and Executive Producer, subHysteria. The film was released in South America in May 2010.
He is currently producing his second feature "200 Cartas" set for release in the summer of 2012.
Sven Herrmann - Editor
Sven studied Architecture in the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. He works in New York and Mexico City. This native of Mexico parlayed his creative talents, his fluency in Spanish, English and German and his natural eye for story-telling into a very successful career as one of the busiest freelance TV commercial editors in Mexico. Sven has delivered creative editing of major brand commercials that have aired in the US, the entire Americas, Europe and Asia to the highest standards. Brands have included General Motors, Coca Cola Co., American Express, FedEx, P&G, Nissan, Cingular, McDonald`s, Kraft Foods, Colgate-Palmolive, Pepsi Co., AT&T, Bacardi, Mattel, KMart, MillerLite, Verizon, Kellogg`s and Sony Music. In 2005 Sven moved to New York. There he was part of RhinoEdit's team until 2007. He completed projects for the most important Hispanic Advertising Agencies as well as major TV networks such as MTV. Projects in New York have included Cingular/AT&T, Wendy's, Downy, KMart, Verizon Wireless, Kraft and Miller Lite. Sven Herrmann is a great Film Editor having cut 4 short films as well as several music videos and 2 documentaries.
Javier Perez-Karam - Director of Photography
Javier is a Filmmaker and video artist with background in advertising, marketing and music. His credits include directing and writing the short films "Thou Shall Not Dream", "434" and "Makeup"; and producing the award winning documentary "Metralleta", distributed theatrically in Venezuela, by Amazonia Films, as well as many short films and corporate projects. In 2009 Javier completed production of subHysteria, his first feature film as Writer and Producer, scheduled to be released in theaters in 2010. subHysteria will be the first of Zelig and Perez-Karam's new endeavor: EO7, a sibling production company of EO!
Carlo Nicolau - Composer
At age nine Carlo began studying classical violin and intuitively composing music using the family's rusty living room piano. Four years later he a earned a scholarship to continue his studies at the National Conservatory in Tours, France. Upon his return to Mexico City he made a living playing the violin in some of the top orchestras and founded the legendary Prog-rock-chamber ensemble NAZCA. Carlo moved to New York in 1988 and formed The Devil's Breakfast, another prog-rock band performing in many NY venues including monthly sold out shows at the Knitting Factory. Around this time he began his work in advertising and in 1994 received a Clio award for music written for a Budweiser campaign that aired during the USA Soccer World Cup. This led him to open Razorhead Music, a multi-composer music production company dedicated to write music for television, film and radio. Clients include Coca Cola, Chrysler, NBC, Discovery Channel amongst many others. Carlo has written over 200 spots for television and scored the feature film SANTITOS (1999) Sundance Film Festival winner) and has worked with choreographers Stephen Petronio and Sondra Loring. He performs regularly as a guest musician with local New York world music, Latin and Indie rock bands such as the Violent Femmes. In 2007 Carlo had the honor to selected to produce the album "Hands OF Fire", a live solo album by 86 year old conga master Candido Camero, accompanied by a band of New York Latin jazz all star musicians. Carlo is a guest musician on he album as well.
